A leaflet has an uncanny knack of being in the right place at the right time, providing news, imparting knowledge, giving information and detail and otherwise delivering its message. A leaflet has a million uses and whatever shape and size, it is usually fit for purpose and obligingly helpful. There is no short list of reasons why one would design and print a leaflet; any business, whether it be commercial, non-profit or governmental, has so many communication needs and a leaflet will just about fulfil every one of them.
A leaflet will give basic information about your business, and many organisations have a single leaflet dedicated to describing the fundamental reason for its existence and which answers the basic questions that potential clients, supporters, or stakeholders need to know. Some have named this their general leaflet, or their “answering your questions” leaflet. Most use this as a vehicle to ensure identification with their business, so they will commonly comprise the main company logo, description of what the company does, who will need these services, where to find them and how to make contact. This is a fundamental marketing need and any business without one will struggle to maintain a presence in the market place.
A leaflet can be used to promote a special offer, or push a new line in products or describe a particular service and its benefits. This would normally be an additional marketing item to be used as well as your general leaflet. This is the leaflet that you will be more likely to use in a direct marketing campaign, such as pushing it through people’s doors, or folding it into newspapers so that it drops onto laps whilst reading, or used as a give out in the high street. This leaflet is the one that you will develop in order to sell a particular thing to a particular group of people.
Of course you might have the type of business that really needs a combination of the two leaflets above and, if that is the case, All Homes of course will be delighted to meet your needs. We will also be pleased to discuss any other number of reasons why you might like to produce a leaflet. You might want to celebrate an anniversary for instance, if you have reached your 10th year of trading then you might want to declare the news – always welcome in these harsh economic climes – and thank your current customers. If you manage a superstore, or retail outlet, you might want to produce a selection of small circulation leaflets for internal use directing customers to where items are and what they cost. You may also want to distribute to national staff body some training initiatives that will benefit them. The list is endless and we are happy to help you with them all.
